I recently wrote about the upcoming National Counted Cross Stitch Show at Rockhome Gardens. If you are planning to attend this show, you will want to read this message from Heather Orn, Craft Gossip Needlework Blog Editor. According to Heather, there are some problems with this year's show that you should be aware of before you plan to attend. If you have questions about the situation, contact Rockhome Gardens for more information.

Thanks for getting the information about this up so quickly, Connie. We reporters have to get the facts out as soon as possible to our readers, or we are also liable for any losses they incur.

I just got off the phone with Rockhome Gardens and was disappointed to find that they are not doing the counted cross stitch show, due to new owners. So come on stitchers lets swamp their phone lines with calls letting them know we want the show back. 1 217-268-4106 It was wonderful .I had not been able to attend in a while. But could do so this year. It was a good time by all .The vendors and to see the stitching and seminars. It was a nice weekend get away for me it was only four hours drive away. Now I don’t know were to go to see the new stuff in stitching.Hope they hear us and we get the show back next year.

So happy to know others miss this Wonderful show. we also took classes and found it a great way to find the new stuff in stitching. the shop at Mattoon considered sponsoring a show but it was too much. If anyone knows of a way to impress the new owners to have the show again, let’s do it. I went to the last one, after them missing one or two years, and heard the new owners were not happy with attendance. some of us agreed they didn’t give it enough time to get organized. Good luck.
