Free R is for Rabbit Pattern
Saturday November 3, 2007
The free R is for Rabbit design is one of a collection of 25 alphabet samplers. (Yes, I know, there are 26 letters, but Y and Z are combined in the same chart.) I have been adding two patterns a month - more or less - to this Alphabet Mini Sampler collection. It will be complete by the end of the year.
You may want to stitch the little samplers individually or combine them in rows of five for a larger project. I am stitching my sampler for my nephew. He is just starting to learn his letters. He wants to read so badly, but his latest obstacle is that when he is sounding out words, he tries out every possible sound for every letter in the word. Hopefully, he will put it all together soon!
I always wished we could have a pet rabbit. My grandfather raised rabbits when I was younger, but I hate to say that he did not make pets out of them. (My sister and I would not eat soup at his house.)
