Poll - Which Supply Is Your Weakness?

Monday December 3, 2007
I have been sorting through my Cross Stitch supplies lately trying to force myself to decrease the size of my collection a bit. I actually managed to get a box of magazines and leaflets together to give to a friend. I was so proud of myself. I also have some needles I plan to send her, but when it came time to look at my floss, I knew I just could not part with any of it.

I love being floss "rich." I have about twenty craft boxes full and several other storage bins for my specialty flosses and fibers. I definitely have a weakness for floss. I am also pretty bad about buying needles, but since I really like the gold petite Cross Stitch needles and I have to order them, I am not as likely to buy needles in bulk at the craft store now!

I have a fair collection of fabric, but with as many projects as I make, I know I will use it eventually. I like to look at fabric before I purchase it and the stores closest to me don't carry a wide selection, so I am pretty safe with fabric too.

What is your weakness? What supply calls out your name as you pass down the aisle of a store or browse the pages of the mail-order catalog, or click on a website? Vote in the poll and let us know. If your favorite supply is not listed, use the comments button below to let us know about it and select "other" from the poll options.

I like it all scissors are very good. Charts & patterns I love to collect. Kits are a bad weakness. I have all the colors of floss.
