Poll - Do You Attend Festivals and Events?

The About.com Cross Stitch Forum is one of my favorite parts of the About.com Cross Stitch Website. It is great to get together with other stitchers and discuss stitching problems, share successes, and just gab about life in general. Even though this is just a virtual gathering, we develop some close friendships there.

I live in a rural area and I don't know many people who share my love of Cross Stitch, so the forum is a good place to relieve a slight feeling of isolation. That is one reason I am looking forward to attending some stitching festivals later in the year. It will be great to gather with other stitchers and learn new skills and shop and just have some good times together.
