Happy Independence Day!

It has been hot as a firecracker this week where I live. (Ha - couldn't resist the July Fourth pun.) The calendar says it is summer, the weather says it is summer, and now that the Fourth is here, it is so official! Ice-pops, lemonade, and watermelon are on my agenda for the week.

Of course, I will be stitching some too. One project I am looking at doing is Lesley Shepherd's Miniature Sunflower Design. Lesley is the About.com Guide to Minatures, so she stitched her project on 32-count Lugana fabric for a perfect doll house pillow. While I like stitching tiny projects, I might decide to use a larger count fabric and make a door hanger instead!
