Miniature Needlework Resources

One of the things I love about Cross Stitch is the wide variety of stitching surfaces. One day I may be stitching a design on 7-count Monks Cloth and the next I may be stitching over one on 32-count linen. One of my favorite projects is my Golden Rule Sampler which was stitched over one and was also my first experience with doing an entire project with silk floss.

Lesley Shepherd, About.com Guide to Miniatures, has collected some great resources for Miniature Stitching projects. Lesley offers several designs suitable for mini stitching, including the Rambling Rose chart shown here. Of course, you could also stitch this design on a fabric with more squares-per-inch for a larger design.
