USA Veterans Day

Today we celebrate Veterans Day here in the USA. I was up visiting my mom and I noticed that our little hometown has a new World War II Veterans Memorial that has just gone up. It is prominently displayed in the corner of the city park. I felt a surge of patriotism when I saw it. My Grandfather and all of his brothers served in the military during WWII and they loved to tell stories about their service. Granddaddy once told me that when he was in the Army he felt the most useful he ever felt in his life.
