Artecy Cross Stitch is one of those companies that pops up often in the Cross Stitch forum. A member will be searching for a pattern and someone will point out that Artecy Cross Stitch has one similar to the description provided. Or someone will be looking for a challenge and Artecy patterns will be mentioned.
I always wondered where Tereena Clarke, the designer and owner of Artecy, got the name of the company. It sounded so fancy! Well, in a recent online interview, I discovered that she created the name from the initials of her eldest son since she started the business when he was born and his initials are RTC.
Tereena has 64 different categories for patterns ranging from animals, fantasy, holidays, Victorian, landscapes, to famous artworks and much more. Many of the patterns are large and detailed, but not all. She offers some smaller patterns for beginners as well. My nephew is a big Polar Bear fan, so I hope he doesn't see Tereena's Polar Bear cub design or I will have to drop everything and make it for him! Learn More about Artecy Cross Stitch....
