Stitch an Underlined Cross Stitch

The underlined cross stitch is a simple cross stitch variation. A horizontal bar is added at the bottom of a regular cross stitch. The stitch may be used to add a border to a small Cross Stitch motif, in a band sampler, or to replace some or all of the cross stitch in a design.
