What an inspired piece! I love the idea of the traditional representational piece in one “pane” and the abstract rendering in the other. Two renderings of the same idea, both done in traditional techniques, but with quite different looks.

This is a fantastic way to combine cross-stitching and quilting. I love the window frame idea, too.

What a clever idea. Two very different styles, but beautifully tied to each other. I like this a lot. And the window as picture frame is great – I may have to use that myself.

I love the marriage of old window frame and stitch work. Nice photo, cool idea.

I really like how the projects are displayed in the old window frame. It’s shabby chic at it’s best.

Beautiful art, such skill. I love it when crafts and arts merge, especially when the result can be put to practical use.

Pink and green. I remember when that was preppy trendy to wear in the eighties. Ah, hair mousse.

Loving this. The quilting and the crosstich together look just great. It makes me miss my quilting days!
