One of the joys of my life has been meeting Mr. Pat. He is my soon to be father-in-law. At 93, he is still amazingly spry and quick-witted. He has two loves in his life - the Western Channel and Atlanta Braves Baseball. I have been getting acquainted with the likes of Bat Masterson, Gene Autry, and The Rifleman. Watching The Big Valley with him brings back memories of our first color television. And, I can't count the number of classic western movies with John Wayne, Randolph Scott, and Glenn Ford I have seen lately.

With all the westerns I have been watching, it is no wonder I decided to title one of my candlewicking design Wagon Wheels. It may look like some thing else to you, but I see wagon wheels. Whatever patterns you detect, enjoy stitching this motif. If you have never tried Candlewicking, check out Candlewicking Basics for more information.
