On the way to visit family in Alabama, there was a place where to road ended in a T. There were these huge warning signs at the intersection. Apparently people had a tendency to run through the intersection and end up in the field across from it. Now, they would put those noise-making strips, but back then they used the warning signs. I was always glad to see them because I knew it meant we were getting closer to their house.

This pattern and the other Street and Traffic Signs Motifs will be cute stitched with waste canvas on a child's denim jacket. You could also stitch them on plastic canvas and mount them on small wood dowels to make signs for a small car playset.
