I love cake. Yellow cake, chocolate cake, orange cake, orange slice cake, Mississippi Mud cake, Earthquake cake.... Mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about cake. Unfortunately, I have also struggled with weight problems all my life - from too much cake and such. So right now, I am off cake and cookies and all things sweet and sugary. I have found some lovely substitutes for some things, but there's just nothing like a warm cupcake with sweet frosting freshly baked and served up with a cherry on top.
Since cake is not an option for me right now, I decided that stitching a cupcake is probably my best option right now.
One of my friends pointed out to me that "Stressed is Desserts Spelled Backward" a few months ago and somehow, that saying seemed to suit the little cupcakes I designed. Once I reach my goal weight and can have a few treats now and again, I will be munching on a few cupcakes now and then. Until then, I can't wait to stitch up a few. I may even substitute a few specialty flosses for the suggested colors. Maybe some silks. (There I go drooling again - mmm, silk flosses - luscious.)
