Weekend Project: Bunnies Squared

Looking for a quick project you can finish in an evening or over a few hours this weekend? The free Bunnies Squared pattern is one of the most popular patterns from About.com Cross Stitch. I have stitched my own version of the design and three other stitchers have submitted photos of their projects as well. Each of them is as individual as the stitcher. The design is a "choose-your-own-color" project so you get to express your creativity.

I chose browns, one stitcher selected a rainbow palette, one did stark black on white fabric, and the other one got creative with some pink floss, beads, and a cool finishing technique. What colors might you select? Maybe you want to experiment with a variegated floss. Perhaps you may choose to use the pattern for filet crochet or a knitting project instead of cross stitch. No matter what you do, enjoy the weekend and enjoy your stitching.
