The beauty of Nature is astounding. I love to look at the shapes of leaves, the dew drops glistening on the grass, or the stars sparkling in the night sky. I could spend hours watching the cows in the pasture next door. Even the lowly bugs can be pretty, as long as they aren't in my house! Of course, during the heat of the summer, that is often exactly where they want to be. We had a column of these critters wander into the house the other day in search of water. I tell you, I much prefer my ants stitched like this one instead of creepy and crawly and bitey.
The free Insect-Themed pattern collection celebrates the beauty of the ant, the wasp, and even the stinkbug, presenting each in silhouette. Stitch the designs in the floss colors of your choice. I chose a shade of brown for my little ant, but I am thinking of mixing it up a little and stitching the others in fluorescent colors. What colors will you choose?
