Cross Stitch Lungs

Some stitchers prefer abstract designs and others prefer realistic stitches. I like a mix of both. The design featured today is quite realistic, if a little unusual. Kristy Kizzee shared a photo of one of her latest projects. Stitching Anatomical Lungs may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they'd be a neat project for a doctor's office, especially when paired with her anatomical heart design. Kristy's sells patterns for her designs in her Bombastitch Etsy shop. I like the lungs, but my two favorites are the Blues Brothers and Dexter charts. There are lots of fun designs to choose from - which ones are your favorites?

Quirky cross stitch! I love it! The skulls are my faves.

A great conversation starter — You would be on the edge of your seat waiting to see if your guest has the nerve to ask, “Uhh.. is that crossstich supposed to look like body parts?”

This is the most unusual cross stitch piece I’ve ever seen!

How interesting! It definitely would be a fine addition to a doctor’s office. Great idea!

These are very cool, and be a great piece to look at while waiting to be seen by the doc. It brings to mind a piece of equipment we take fits easy to granted and is inspiring to take better care of.
