I really enjoy trying out different flosses and fibers after mostly stitching with cotton floss for years. Recently I had a chance to stitch with some floss made of soy.
Not only is this floss earth-friendly, it is strong and very nice to stitch with. I was able to frog and re-use a strand, something I usually avoid with cotton and silk floss. Learn more about the floss, Soy Lustre, at The Pure Palette.
The project I stitched up with the SoyLustre is the free Friendship Saying Bookmark Pattern. I used two colors of the floss for the project. Of course you may stitch it with the floss colors and types of your choice.
