I enjoy designing and stitching symmetrical geometric designs. I used holiday colors for the free Christmas Kaleidoscope collection, but you may change the colors as you like to adapt the designs for year-round display or for another holiday or season.
The designs use lots of quarter stitches, so they are not for the faint of heart. Kaleidoscope Three is shown here and it has the most cross stitches incorporated into the motif. Kaleidoscope One has some challenging back stitch elements - just a word of warning. If you are interested in a more challenging project, then try it out.

I don’t remember this one. At least I don’t remember seeing it in color. It’s wonderful. I adore symmetry too and this stained glass effect is just right. It would be easy to change colors for the various seasons and holidays. Time to sit back and browse the patterns again. I’m missing some things.
Connie, you are fantastic! So many patterns, so little time…
That’s just lovely. It looks like a stained glass window as well as a kaleidoscope design. Thank you for the pattern.
