About.com Cross Stitch Forum members had a go at the free Day Complete Band sampler before it was published on the About.com Cross Stitch site. I was amazed at how quickly they completed their samplers and appreciate their patience with me since they had to wait until I posted the free pattern for their projects to be posted. Now you can get the free Day Complete Band Sampler, a stitching-themed band-sampler.

The example of the free Day Complete Band Sampler shown here was stitched and finished by Irene, aka cathartes. She added charms to her sampler. (Two out of three stitchers didn't like my lettering as much, but I didn't change it because I do.) I like how Irene added the charms to balance out the motif. You could add charms or even extra stitches if you feel the area in the quote needs to be balanced out.

I love the little saying in the center! It seems to incorporate quite a number of stitches making my fingers itch to stitch.
