The free Do the Right Thing pattern was inspired by a pattern search email from a reader. She was looking for a chart to stitch for her son. Since neither one of us could find a chart that fit the bill, I decided to try my hand at designing one for her.

I chose to chart the design in bright primary colors, but you may stitch it in the floss colors of your choice. I really like this saying, by the way. My parents never said it in these exact words, but they sure did convey this sentiment to me more than one time!

I like the saying of course but I like the design too. Sure to appeal to a young person with the bright blocks all shapes, sizes and intertwined like a complex puzzle. Reminds me of life, complicated at times, challenging to always know what is the right thing.
