The Long-Armed Smyrna Cross Stitch is a variation of the Smyrna Cross Stitch that incorporates a petite upright cross stitch laid over a cross stitch stitched over two squares of Aida fabric.

The stitch may be done with one or two colors of floss. The Long-Armed Smyrna Stitch is versatile and may be used to create borders or as a substitute for cross stitch in small motifs.
