A four-sided diamond stitch is a variation of the four-sided stitch. Instead of creating a square, the stitch creates a diamond pattern. An upright cross stitch will be formed as the back of the stitch.

Here's How:
- Start the stitch with a waste knot if desired.
- Bring the threaded needle up at point 1.
- Bring the threaded needle down at point 2 to complete the first half stitch, shown here in black.
- Bring the threaded needle up at point 4 and take it down at point 3 to complete the next half stitch, shown here in green.
- Bring the threaded needle up at point 1 and take it down at point 4 to complete the next half stitch, shown here in blue.
- Bring the threaded needle up at point 2 and take it down at point 3 to complete the next half stitch, shown here in red.
- You have now completed a four-sided diamond stitch. Trim away the waste knot and secure the floss.
- Continue practicing until you master the four-sided diamond stitch.
