Begin by bringing a threaded tapestry needle up at 1 and down at 2, stitching the first half stitch. - Complete the second half stitch and flip to the back of the fabric to secure the floss.
- Continue stitching a row of half stitches, bringing the needle up at the odd numbers and taking the needle down at the even numbers.
- Complete the row of half stitches by drawing the needle down at 8.
- Begin crossing the first row of half stitches by bringing the needle up at 9.
- Continue crossing the original row of half stitches by bringing the needle down at 10.
