Guide Review - Ornaments Galore - 50 Designs by Ursula Michael - Review

Images of snowmen, gingerbread folk, bears, a dog, a cat, Baby’s first Christmas, Santas, a tree, angels, Nativity figures, stockings, a star, reindeer, snowflakes, a hat, a mitten, a wreath, a gingerbread house, a rocking horse, and holiday greetings are included along with a back stitch alphabet and numbers for personalizing.

The patterns are printed in black and red. Though the print is large, some of the red symbols are slightly faint, so be sure you have plenty of light when you are following the patterns. Individual keys are provided for each pattern, making it easy to discern the colors you will need for each particular design.

The color choices for the patterns are interesting. I particularly like the use of yellows and blues instead of using a total red and green color scheme, though plenty of the traditional colors are represented.
