Characteristics of Blending Filament:

Blending Filament is made from polyester. It may be used by itself or combined with other yarns. Create random highlights or an all over shimmer by blending the filament or over-stitching with it. Blending Filament is packaged in 55 yard (50 meter) snap spools.

Blending Filament Types:

Kreinik Blending Filaments are available in two finishes - regular and high lustre.

Range of Colors:

There are over 70 colors of Blending Filament. List of colors

Tips for Using Kreinik Blending Filament:

Use short lengths of blending filament to avoid excessive wear from the abrasion as you pull the floss through the fabric.

When combining the filament with another floss, it may help to dampen the threads to help with control.

Use slow deliberate stitches and allow your needle to dangle often to prevent tangling.

To avoid raveling of the filament, either tie a knot in the end or use a small drop of fray preventative to set the ends.
