Surprisingly few colors of floss are used in the detailed designs. Since very few fractional stitches are used, the smaller designs are suitable for beginning stitchers.

The color patterns are well-laid out on the pages. Each of the large designs fits into a two-page spread with the key underneath, making it easy to stitch directly from the leaflet.
