Begin the Laced Cross Stitch

To stitch a laced cross stitch, you will need the following supplies:
If you are using a hoop, place the
fabric in the hoop. Thread the needle with one or two strands of floss.
You may want to begin the stitch with a
waste knot. Bring the needle up in the lower left hand corner of an Aida square and take it upward to the top left corner of the square. Do not pull this stitch tight. You will need to be able to slip the needle under it.
