Stitch a Laced Cross Stitch Over Two Squares of Aida

To stitch a laced cross stitch over two squares of Aida, bring the needle up in the lower left hand corner of an Aida square and stitch an upright bar over two squares of Aida as indicated in the image. Bring the needle up in the lower right hand of an Aida square two squares over from the bottom of the upright bar.
  1. Gather Supplies and Begin the Stitch
  2. Stitch the Second Part of the Laced Cross Stitch
  3. Slide the Needle Under the Upright Bar
  4. Pull the Floss Across the Square
  5. Complete the Laced Cross Stitch
  6. Completed Laced Cross Stitch
  7. Stitch a Laced Cross Stitch Over Two Squares of Aida
  8. Draw the Floss Under the Upright Bar
  9. Complete the Laced Cross Stitch
  10. Two Laced Cross Stitches - Over One and Over Two
