Company Name:
Leah E. Backman of A Kitty Kats Original has been doing business for twelve years. The business name was chosen for Leah's daughter Kristina and her cats. Leah strives to put together designs and packaging that bring enjoyment to all the stitchers that purchase her charts.
More Information About the Designer:
Leah E. Backman shares a little about herself:
"I started designing 13 years ago. A friend asked me to chart a photo. I bought a cross stitch program, and then started making up my own charts. I wanted to sell them, so I started going to the Nashville Market. Stitching is very therapeutic for me, and as an artist I find the designing very rewarding."

Dominant Design Themes:
Leah describes her designs:
"My designs feature a lot of kitties, but I also have charts with other themes. I have a series about a cat named Max. I originally named him Phil, but a state inspector from my full time job, named Max, thought it was a better name. Max is immensely popular. I get emails with new suggestions for Max all the time." Leah's Birdhouse Rows and Chickadee series are also popular designs.
