Continue to keep tension even as the second part of the Outlined Diamond Eyelet Stitch is created.

  1. Bring the threaded needle up at point H and take it down through the center.
  2. Bring the needle up at point I and take it down through the center. Continue stitching sequentially as indicated on the diagram.
  3. Up at point J, down through the center.
  4. Up at point K, down through the center.
  5. Up at point L, down through the center.
  6. Up at point M, down through the center.


If you must end one strand of floss and start another, as you secure the floss, take care to keep the floss away from the center of the stitch or it may be visible from the front of the fabric.
