Inspiration: I can't remember which came first - Happy Sun or Sleepy Moon, but the charts were inspired by my sister's Papillon pooches, Sunshine and Mooney. (I think I just committed some sort of crime by calling them pooches.)
The Happy Sun pattern is a companion piece to the Sleepy Moon chart. It is stitched on white Aida fabric with DMC floss. I omitted the back stitch face from this example.
This project would be great for a baby blanket, a kitchen towel, or a card.
