Lori's Inexpensive No-Sew Vase Cover - Easy Cross Stitch Project

Note: You will need to repeat Steps 4 and 5 for each end of band.

Referring to the photo, fold up the lower edge in the same manner used in step 4.

Press the fabric to crease it.
Remove the protective paper from a scrap piece of iron-on adhesive and cut it into approximately 3/8 inch squares.

Place the small pieces of adhesive between the end folds and creases. Cut and/or fold the adhesive as needed to fit. Cover the end with protective paper and iron it to secure in place. (Be sure to follow manufacturer's instructions for the iron-on adhesive.)
Repeat this process with with other end of the band.

Be aware that the upper edge of cloth will remain straight and the lower edge will be gathered upward. When lying flat, this will cause the upper edge to curve slightly, but when the projects is finished and placed on vase, it will be straight.
