A stitching journal can be as simple or as complex as desired, but before you begin to keep a stitcher's journal, you will need to choose a format. Will you use a binder, a bound journal, a computer file, an online photo gallery, or start your own stitching blog?

Taking photos of your cross stitch projects is a great way to preserve memories of the project and to chart your progress. Taking photos of my stitching progress helps keep me motivated when it seems like I will never finish!

Tip:
If you select a binder or a bound journal, be sure to choose acid free paper so that your memories will be preserved.
