O is for Orange Pattern

Oranges will always make me think of trips to Florida as a child. What images do they bring up for you? Make an orange sampler for someone and share your story.

P is for Pig Pattern

I have to dedicate this P is for Pig pattern to my mom, former pig farmer extraordinaire. She never complained at all the pig knick-knacks we gave her, and that has surely earned her a few stars in her crown.

Q is for Quilt Pattern

My Grandmother was a prolific quilter. Her quilts have been a part of my life for over forty years. I slept under them as a child, they adorned my bed during my college years, and I even used one in the decorations for my wedding! (My love for quilts long outlasted that relationship.)

R is for Rabbit Pattern

Rabbits always look so furry and fluffy. Look at how many great rabbits there are from stories. The Velveteen Rabbit and Peter Rabbit just for starters. No wonder I dreamed of having a pet rabbit when I was a child.

S is for Sun Pattern

Designs © Connie G. BarwickDesigns © Connie G. Barwick
When I was younger I preferred rainy days. I loved to curl up with a book and read, read, and then read some more. These days, I prefer sunny days. I still love to curl up with a book and read, but my eyes need all the light I can get! Whether you need a sunny reminder on a rainy day, or a small design to celebrate a sunny day, this pattern is perfect.

T is for Turtle Pattern

Designs © Connie G. BarwickDesigns © Connie G. Barwick
When I was a very young girl I had a quilted turtle in the same colors used in this pattern. The turtle was based on a flower garden quilt square if I recall correctly. She got the pattern off the back of a fiberfill package. I loved that turtle and since childhood I have always been fascinated by turtles.
