When stitching a Cross Stitch design that includes cross stitches and back stitches, be sure to clip the ends of floss close to the threads under which they are secured. If long ends of floss are left on the back of the project, they may be caught up by the back stitches and drawn to the front. If this happens, use your needle to push the floss to the back. With care, however, the problem may be avoided completely.
