Definition:

In some Cross Stitch Designs, two or more types of floss are blended to create a cross stitch.

For example, the needle may be threaded with two colors of floss to give a more subtle color shading. At times, blending filaments or other speciality threads such as metallics may be used with six-strand floss to add luster to a project. This practice is referred to as Blended Neeedle.

Also Known As: Blended Floss, Tweeding
