Rotation

By Connie G. Barwick, About.com

Definition: Rotation is a common term used by stitchers to refer to a method of working on several projects at one time. Each project is worked on in succession for a specified period of time.

For example, a stitcher may have several large projects going on. He or she will work on each project for a week. Or, a stitcher may have one large project and several smaller ones. The stitcher may alternate between working on the large project and completing smaller projects.
