Now that you have completed a cross stitch, choose another square and repeat Step 4 through Step 9. See what happens if you pull your stitches really tight or leave them loose. As you practice you will learn how tightly to pull the floss as you stitch a cross stitch.

When you are comfortable with stitching a cross stitch, the next step will be to learn how to stitch a row of cross stitches.
