Why to Use Petite Tapestry Needles

Petite tapestry needles have the same eye size as regular tapestry needles, but they are shorter in length. This means that there is less needle to draw through the fabric and stitching time is lessened.

Tips About Using Petite Tapestry Needles

  • Keep a magnet handy if you are stitching with the smaller size tapestry needles. If you drop one, it is that much more difficult to find because of the minute length.
  • Use the same method of stitching with petite tapestry needles as with regular tapestry needles.
  • Be sure to change needles frequently, particularly if they become tarnished or worn.
