My Very First Cross Stitch Project

I was in the second grade, so I was about eight years old. I barely remember stitching the design, but I do know that is was my first Cross Stitch Project. My mother saved it for many years in her cedar chest and had it framed for me when I was moving out on my own. It hangs with pride in my bedroom, a little faded, but a Cross Stitch design to treasure nonetheless.
