Flower Pillow - Detail

This pillow is one of my stitchery treasures. Sometime during the 1930s, my paternal grandmother, Jewel H. Garmon, traced the design from an embroidered doily made by my great-grandmother, Bertha Harris. The design was stitched using straight stitch and stem stitch on a flour sack using whatever floss she had on hand.
