The bands in the free Read My Tea Leaves Cross Stitch pattern were inspired by the Tea Leaf Quilt Block pattern. As I wrote this poem, I imagined a young girl sitting in the kitchen asking her grandmother or old aunt to read her tea leaves and tell her fortune, hoping for a good one.
