May Honor Mini Sampler

Design © Connie G. Barwick
In May, we celebrate Memorial Day in the USA. At that time we honor those who serve the country we love. Many families also have Decoration Days during this month when they honor the memory of family members by cleaning off graves and having memorial services. Honor loved ones as you stitch this free sampler pattern.

June Cherish Mini Sampler

Design © Connie G. Barwick
June always makes me think of weddings, but this sampler reminds me to cherish so many things - sunrises, sunsets, starry nights, the cats, my family, and stitching. (Not necessarily in that order.) Think about all the things and people you cherish as you stitch this little sampler.

July Celebrate Mini Sampler

Design © Connie G. Barwick
Independence Day has always been a favorite holiday of mine. I love fireworks and patriotic music. It is usually so hot in July that we need no excuse to sit back on a hot summer night, snack on cool foods and enjoy live music and dramatic firework displays. Or, sit in the living room, eat popcorn and watch specials on TV. (I usually vote for the latter.)

August Vacation Mini Sampler

Design © Connie G. Barwick
Every August, I get the urge to buy lots of paper, notebooks, pencils, and ink pens. I may have been out of school for a long time, but I still remember preparing to start a new school year and treasuring those last few days of freedom before returning to days measured by bells and schedules. Take a vacation of your own this month - even if only for a few minutes. Stitch this sampler to remind you how important a break can be.

September Remember Mini Sampler

Design © Connie G. Barwick
September holds many memories. For many, the events of September 11, 2001 are still forefront in memory. My memories are stirred this month because we have a family reunion each year. It is always amazing to see how much all the little kids have grown and we are always saddened when we mark the passing of older family members. Take time to remember family members both near and far as you stitch this little sampler for September.

October Treat Mini Sampler

This sampler answers the perennial question - Trick or Treat? Well, personally I choose Treat every time. Stitch this little sampler to add to your Halloween decor.

November Be Very Thankful Mini Sampler

Design © Connie G. Barwick
November brings Thanksgiving. Beyond all the stories, traditions, parades, and football is the core reason for this holiday - giving thanks. As you celebrate this month, remember all the good things in your life. Stitch up this little design as a small hostess gift or for a small framed piece to add to your holiday decorations.

December Believe Mini Sampler

Design © Connie G. Barwick
The December holidays are about beliefs that are central to faith. Whatever you believe, this is a magical time of year when we all tend to care just a little more about each other. Stitch this sampler as an ornament or for a small refrigerator magnet to remind you to look past commercialism to the true meaning of the holiday season.
