Silk Mori Floss - From Kreinik

Kreinik Silk Mori is a six-strand spun silk thread that is presented in 2.75 yard (2.5 meter) skeins.

There are over 150 solid colors of Silk Mori. One great feature of Silk Mori is that it can be used to reproduce natural skin tones. The Milkpaint colors match Milkpaint, a common type of paint used during Colonial times. These threads are especially useful when a historical or antique look is desired.

Silk Mori has a subtle sheen. The floss is dry cleanable, but should not be washed.

Keep your thread length shorter and separate and recombine floss for better coverage. Use the same number of strands of Silk Mori as you would cotton floss.

Keep your hands moisturized to prevent snagging the floss on dry skin. Prepare the edge of your fabric to prevent snagging the floss on the edges.

When working with Silk Mori, do not use a hoop. Use scroll frames or Q-snaps.
