Waterlilies - Caron Embroidery Floss

Type of Floss:

Waterlilies is twelve-ply spun silk floss presented in a 6 yard (5.5 meter) skein.

Range of Colors :

Waterlilies is available in several hundred colors. (For Solid floss of the same color use Soie Cristale. Waterlilies is hand-dyed on natural or white Soie Cristale.)For a complete listing of available colors, visit the Caron Collection website.

Characteristics of Waterlilies Floss:

Waterlilies has a lovely sheen and brilliant coloring. The thread will add a hint of luxury to any project.

Tips for Usage:

On 11 to 14-count Aida, use two to three plies. For 18 to 22-count, use two plys. For high count evenweave fabrics, use 1 ply of Waterlilies.

Use two plies of Waterlilies for open work fillings in Hardanger.

It may be best to stitch a test swatch of stitches on the fabric you choose to ensure you achieve the look you want.
