Double Running Stitch

Double Running Stitch is also known as Holbein stitch, running stitch, or outline stitch. Double Running Stitch is used in traditional Blackwork designs.

Whipped Back Stitch

Whipped back stitch produces a twisted cordlike stitch. When stitched with two colors an unusual contrast results. Stitching with a single color produces a subtle slightly raised stitch.
