11. Make Tassels

Embroidery and craft thread is perfect for making tassels! Add one to a bookmark, ornament, or card.

12. Collage Artwork

Add embroidery floss to magazine photos, tissue paper, fabric remnants, and almost anything else that can be attached to a surface to create collage artwork.

13. Crochet a Sock Edging

Use embroidery thread or craft thread to add decorative edgings to socks of all sizes. It is especially cute on baby socks.

14. Nesting Material for the Birds

Place small scraps of thread, yarn, and even unraveled Cross Stitch fabric in mesh bags for the birds to use in building their nests. Some fibers should not be offered to the birds, however.
