When placing the fabric between the split rail of the ratchet needlework frame, use the line on the Cross Stitch fabric edge to guide your placement. Place both ends of the fabric in the rails, using the lines as your guide. Roll the fabric up slightly overlapping the edge of the fabric. You may want to use rubber bands to secure the rails for insertion. The band will keep the fabric from slipping.
