Carla's Floss Storage Tip

By , About.com Guide

Carla shares her floss storage method. She writes, "For a long time, I have used floss boxes to organize my bobbins. However, when traveling, I have found them to be quite cumbersome. I am converting to a 3-ring binder system using coin sleeve pages (usually 20 slots to a page).

Each slot will easily accommodate a bobbin. Use the number stickers to put on each sleeve, put the pages in a 3-ring binder, and I now have only one item to carry that contains all of my colors.

Why coin sleeves? Because I was having such a hard time trying to find floss keepers like those pages and I know that other stitchers have had difficulty, too. You should be able to find the coin sleeve pages at a fairly decent price at any coin shop, Barnes & Noble, or even eBay.
