Heather's Floss Organizing Tip

By Connie G. Barwick, About.com

Heather shares how she organizes floss for large projects. She writes, "I have found that, when stitching a pattern with many, many colors, the best way to keep them separated and labeled is in a screw/nut organizer (that every man has) that has at least thirty drawers. I alphabetize the colors in the instructions and, on a removable label, affix it on the drawers in that same alphabetical order. It makes it a breeze to find, separate, and put the colors back!"
